LAST MUDDY SHOES SATURDAY RUN OF THE YEAR!

Hey There Muddy Shoozers and Other Assorted Trail Jogging Enthusiasts!
Are ya ready for the last official Muddy Shoes Saturday run of 2024? It’s the season finale!
We’ll have face-painting, balloons, a Moon Bounce for the kids, clowns, jugglers, music and…WHOA…WAIT A SECOND!! THIS IS TRAIL RUNNING! THIS AIN’T NO STINKIN’ 5K ROAD RACE!
We don’t face paint! We face PLANT!
Moon bounce? Only moons you’ll see trail running are off squatting behind a bush (TMI!).
And clowns?! Well, just look around at our group before we start a run! You’ll wonder if the circus is in town!
But, I digress (again!). Focus!
Ok, so, this Saturday we’ll head up-county to the traditional site of our 2nd run of the season from waaaaay back in April, Log House Road. From there we’ll head South on the Greenway and Goshen Branch Trails for an out-n-back. We last hit this venue in June. It’s a crowd favorite. As usual, we’ll have snacks and liquids after the run and there will be water out on the trail at Huntmaster Road.
I’ve talked enough. Announcements then details:

– Registration for Farm Park Challenge 2025 opens on Jan. 1, 2025. The race date is Saturday, May 3, 2025. This is one of the premier local Springtime trail events and we are excited to add a traditionally timed 25K this year! Mark your calendars for registration!
– Muddy Shoes 10-year anniversary shirts (long and short sleeves) are still available but only until 31 December. Shop here MyMuddyShoes.printify.me Sizes run large.

Location: Log House Road Trailhead
Address: 23521-23599 Log House Rd. Gaithersburg, MD 20882 (Carpool if you can)
Date: 23 November 2024
Time: 0730
Course: South on the Seneca Greenway across Watkins Road (1.6 miles) and Huntmaster Road (4.3 miles and H2O drop) and down to intersection with Goshen Branch Trail on left (5 miles). Take Goshen Branch Trail out to end (6.3 miles). Turn around and head back. Nuthin’ to it!
Distance: 12.6-ish miles. Options to add on will be given at pre-run blah-blah.
Pace: Fast, slow and in-between
Vibe: Chill…very chill…so very, very chill…
