Well, this’ll be the sixth year in a row we’re pulling this one off. Now established as the Official Stone Mill 50 Miler Taper Run (Hmm, I should check with Barry about that) this makes for a great wind-down before the big one or just a plain ol’ righteous trail run in the woods and fields of MoCo. Yeah, so, there are other places to run on pavement that day but why would ya? To me and my trail buds the answer is simple…trails rule. Plus this event has been known to serve up some great post-run pot-luck eat-ums to re-charge.
The course takes you on the trails of Lake Needwood, up on the Redland Trails up to the legendary Ag Farm Trails (Site of Coach Daryl’s Farm Park Challenge in May) and back. If ya haven’t been on these trails your in for a treat. Dogs are welcome but if you bring your dog please keep ’em on a leash and don’t let them be a trail hog!
