***TUESDAY RUN AT REDLAND POSTPONED***

Hey Folks,

Forecast for 6 p.m. is not favorable: Wind gusts up to 30+ mph, actual temps around 25 degrees but wind chill will be 11 degrees, worse when the wind gusts. I know some roads in my neighborhood have not even been plowed so travel is not easy or safe. Given this plethora (ooh, big word!) of information and putting safety first, we’re cancelling this evening’s run. Just getting to the school will be treacherous as well as the threat of getting taken out by falling tree branches. I’ve had a couple of very close calls with lumber falling from the sky.

Better to stay safe than be sorry. We’ll pick up next week which, BTW, is the second Tuesday of the month which means it will be an Outta the Way Café post-run mingle to kick off the New Year.
