***TUESDAY TRAIL RUN WEATHER UPDATE

Hey Intrepid Trail Dogs,
Apparently, I missed a payment to my Mother Nature Nice Weather subscription and she is a wee bit upset. Her plan? Throw more snow at us on Tuesday just for good measure. And to really get her point across she is doing it on our Outta the Way Café night. Jeez! She means business!
So, here’s the deal. We are still a full day and a half out as I’m writing this, but the weather peeps are increasing their confidence that at our run time it will be snowing quite hard and starting to accumulate. As we all know the weather forecast in the DMV can change in a rats-ass minute depending on storm track, rain/snow line, start time, etc. Right now, the National Weather Service is calling for 4-6 inches starting Tuesday afternoon in the Forests of Redland. So, stay tuned.
Here’s the other thing, I’m driving back home from Rochester Tuesday morning – into the teeth of the storm <yikes> – and won’t be able to monitor conditions from the road very easily. Therefore, the plan will be if snow is accumulating in the late afternoon (4-5 p.m. timeframe), we are cancelled ☹. However, if the weather peeps somehow miss the mark and roads are clear, we run…then eat! 😊Simple as that. I don’t want to put anyone at risk getting to or from the trails on slick roads. It’s not worth it.
OK, I gotta go see if I have Mother Nature’s Paypal ID written down somewhere so I can re-up the subscription! Get some sunny weather in here!
