Hey Mud Slappers,

Are ya ready to romp in the mud and darkness? Thanks to Hurricane Ian we have had a tad bit of moisture the last couple of days and we might have some more precip at run time. It’s all good. Especially if you are training for an upcoming event. You never know what the weather will be on race day so running in adverse conditions toughens you up for anything. Like I’ve said in the past, ‘The more crap you run through, the less crap will affect you!’ Truth!

So, thank you Laura for leading last week on our transitional run from Needwood back to the Forests of Redland. Make sure you bring a headlamp (or equivalent). With the overcast it will be dark…and muddy!

First Tuesday of the month is Jazz at Hank Dietle’s Tavern with Brother Bill after the run. Chris Glaser will be the Head Coach for that! I don’t think it will be too muddy there!

OK, details for tonight:
