TRAIL TUESDAY AT REDLAND

Hey Trail Dogs,

First off, a big thank you to all that bundled up (it actually didn’t seem that cold) and came out to the 2nd Annual Muddy Shoes Trail Clean-Up on Monday. The trails of Redland are squeaky clean!

Now, for this evening, speaking of chilly, we can expect a run time temp of 25 with a feels-like temp even lower. Cold as a witches Hoka, as the saying goes…that is how the saying goes…isn’t it? I digress! Dress warm, layers work well. Needless to say we won’t be hanging in the parking lot this evening. Once you get on the trail, down in the stream valley you’ll warm up. Promise!

Now for the run details:

Location: Redland Middle School

Address: 6505 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855 – Parking lot by ball field on the right side of school.

Date: 20 January 2026

Time: Warm up at 6 p.m. Run starts at 6:15

Course: Clockwise. Lower trail first.

Distance: 5-ish miles with warm-up (feel free to do shorter or longer)

Pace: Fast, slow and in-between

Vibe: Chill…very chill!
