So, as you see in the picture there is a fungus among us. Well, not really…although my trails shoes sure do smell like some kind of spores are growing in there. But it is Summer. And with that we have heat and humidity which is a great environment for things to grow in the woods…like mushrooms. We’ll hit the trails again today with our ever watchful eyes open to see if we can spot any shrooms growing along the trail. As some of you know its been a bountiful year for harvesting those delectable fungi while we run…oysters, chanterelle’s, boletus… Quite delicious. So, gather at Needwood and we’ll seewhere the trails take us tonight!

Course: We will run around the lake clockwise, hit the Parilla Path, up and across the top of the lake then out’n’back on Troll Trail, down the west side of the lake, hill repeats on Adies Hill and back to the parking lot.
