TUESDAY TRAILS CANCELLED

Hey Trail Dogs,

Looks like we need to cancel again this evening. The trails are in terrible shape. Even with the slight above-freezing temps from yesterday and those expected for today it’s not nearly enough to melt or soften the bricks of “snow-crete” that are out there. Plus, today’s temps are going to be below freezing at runtime. That will make for dangerous conditions to maintain your footing. Where the snow is not broken into those big slabs, it is a sheen of ice on the unbroken surface. When I was there yesterday it was definitley un-runnable and, quite frankly, barely walkable.

We’ll try again next week.
