Howdy Root Kickers!

Are ya ready for another Tuesday evening on the trails of Lake Needwood? We still are pleasantly dealing with some fine Spring weather – dry with nice temps and low humidity. We’ll be wishing for days like this when late July rolls around. Plus, we’ll throw in a post-run recharge and mingle at the Outta the Way Café (17503 Redland Rd, Derwood, MD 20855) since we missed it last week when I was AWOL. BTW, we still have Muddy Shoes hats ($15) and Buffs ($10). Just see me or Mike Chau.

Time: Warm Up Mile 6 p.m. Main run 6:15

Course: Counter-Clockwise – Up the East side and out onto Blue Jay Loop then back past Archery Range onto Mudcat Trail until you get to Needwood Road; go left across the lake and crossover Road to do the out-and-back on the Troll Trail then down West side of lake ; hill repeats at Adie’s Hill then back across dam to parking lot. Easy Peazy!
