SATURDAY TRAIL RUN with MUDDY SHOES

Hey there, Trail Lickers and Mud Pickers,
Looks like we’ll be heading up-county this Saturday for a fine morning on some very fine single-track trails. For some reason my intuition is telling me to take us up to Log House Road so we can stomp on the Northern reaches of the Seneca Greenway Trail. We haven’t been up there since way back in April, so we are due. Should be some good mud out there too, given the recent downpours we’ve had!
This is a nice out-and-back course that meanders South crossing Watkins Road and then Huntmaster Road. Before getting to Brink Road, you’ll hit the trail intersection with the Goshen Branch Trail. Take Goshen Branch (left)it out to the end before turning around to head back. More details below.
But first, here are the announcements:
- SIGN UP! The 6th Annual Muddy Shoes Summer Fat Ass is coming on Saturday July 15th. This awesome low-key trail event, located in Seneca Creek State Park, is followed by a fun post-run potluck feast and mingle (Muddy Shoes supplies meat and plant proteins and some other stuff). We’ll have an alcohol permit so there will be adult beverages to enjoy in moderation. And, sorry, Dude, the permit does not cover weed. For more info https://www.facebook.com/events/542645244617986
- Don’t miss out on Muddy Shoes merch! Not only do we have Muddy Shoes baseball hats ($15) and buffs ($10), we have official Muddy Shoes re-usable cups ($5)! Great to carry with you to lower your carbon footprint on the planet! Plus, they look awesome! Please see Coach Phil or Coach Mike (Chau).
