SATURDAY TRAIL RUN AND FOREST THERAPY

Hey Saturday Trail Toads,

Saturday is looking to be a mighty fine day for forest jogging. Weather will be about 73 degrees and clear skies. Quite a change from what we’ve been seeing round these parts. We’ll be running around Lake Frank and out and back on the Kengla/North Branch trails with a little side trip to Sunfish Pond. All told the mileage will be just over 12. There’ll be water at the Muncaster Mill underpass and usual post-run fare back at the cars.

This is a righteous race held at the beautiful Woodstock Equestrian Park brought to you by Coach Gretchen (RD) and Coach Phil (Asst. RD and Course designer – blame him!). Address: 15212-15184 Avery Rd, Derwood, MD 20855

Time: 0730

Course: Counter-clockwise around Lake Frank (side trip up to Sunfish Pond) then out under Muncaster Mill Road to ICC. Cross creek and head out to Bowie Mill Road. Head back the way you came except go down other side of Lake Frank
