Funny man with watermelon helmet and goggles looks like a parasitic caterpillar

Hey there, Trail Dogs!

Trail Tuesday is upon us! Once again, we’ll brave the mid-August DC heat and humidity to slap our feet on the luscious single-track around Lake Needwood here in central MoCo! On the bright side we’re more than half-way through Summer. I keep dreaming of those crisp Fall evenings where we have to wear headlamps again. It’ll be here soon enough. In the meantime, we sweat…a lot!

A quick shout out to Gretchen and her crew of volunteers who helped make this past weekend’s Groovin’ Woodstock 7k Trail Race a huge success. It was a record turnout of 111 runners who competed on the short but challenging course.

Still got Muddy Shoes merch for sale – Baseball Hats ($15), Buffs (410) reusable cups ($5). It may still be Summer, but the holidays are fast approaching. Shop now!
