Hey Summer Trailies,
We have a special run for ya this weekend. We’ll be revisiting Casa de Loretta for our Starting/Finishing point and post-run mingle. Fellow trailie, Loretta, has once again graciously offered up her home as a gathering point for our Saturday Muddy Shoes trail run! We’ll be supplying all the food and bevs, so no need to bring anything excepting your soon-to-be sweaty self and your trail shoes (maybe a dry shirt for afterwards).
As far as the run goes, we’ll be hittin’ the Greenway Trail. Loretta’s house is conveniently located right across the road from the Berryville Side Trail (.10 miles) which leads down to the Greenway midway between Berryville Road and Route 28. It will be a tad bit on the hot side but, hey, this is the DMV and it is July. Suck it up, Buttercup!
Anyway, before I get too sarcastic, here are the details:

Course and Distance: Seneca Greenway up to Black Rock Mill (3.6) back down (3.6) past side trail down to Berryville Road (2.2) and back up (2.2) for ~11.5 miles. Add on Berryville Rd. down to River Rd. for additional 2.6 (~14 total)
