Trail Tuesday is, once again, upon us! Time to go cavorting through the Forests of Derwood with a bunch of your sweaty trail friends.
Weather will be typical for July in the DMV. Hazy, hot, humid with a chance for a T-storm in the afternoon. We’ll keep an eye to the sky but most likely I’ll C U there!

Location: Lake Needwood
Address: 15700 Needwood Lake Circle (parking lot by the Hiker-Biker Trail)

Time: Warm Up Mile 6 p.m. Main run 6:15
Course: Clockwise – Up the West side of the lake to Needwood Rd. Cross Needwood Road (look both ways) and out-n-back on Troll Trail. Cross lake on Needwood Road and head back into park entrance to Mudcat Trail. Take Mudcat to Needwood Trail. Left on Needwood Trail up to Archery Range then out onto Blue Jay Loop. Head back over to lake and back to parking lot. Repeats on Potty Hill. Easy Peazy!
