Welcome to the second Tuesday of the month! You know what that means? That’s right, we run and then we eat and mingle. More specifically, we hit the fantastic trails of Lake Needwood, then stuff our pieholes full of great grub at the Outta the Way Café! Such a plan!
The weather will be fantastic! High 70’s with low humidity! Can’t beat that!
OK. So we’ll hope to C U there! But, first, the announcements:

– Get Ready! The 6th Annual Muddy Shoes Summer Fatass is coming up on Saturday July 15th. This is an awesome low-key trail event located in Seneca Creek State Park followed by a fun post-run potluck feast and mingle (Muddy Shoes supplies meat and plant proteins and some other stuff). And, yes, we’ll have an alcohol permit so there will be adult beverages to enjoy in moderation. Not sure if the permit will cover weed since it will be legal. Location: Lake Needwood Address: 15700 Needwood Lake Circle (parking lot by the Hiker-Biker Trail head)

Time: Warm Up Mile 6 p.m. Main run 6:15
Course: A little change- pay attention – Counter-Clockwise – Up the East side of the lake (do not do Blue Jay Loop!) Cross Needwood Road (look both ways) and out-n-back on Beaver Tale Trail. Cross lake on Needwood Road and down West side to Parilla Path. Take Parilla to the dam and back to parking lot with repeats on Potty Hill. Easy Peazy!
